Review
Butt-slide to victory !!!
Not something that you hear everyday in the gaming world is it ?
Action Henk is first and foremost fun. It is also in equal parts, challenging, addictive and frustrating.
There is a sort of storyline involved but it actually doesn't matter at all. As Henk you are tasked with getting from the start of each level to the end in the fastest time possible...............it really is that simple !!!!
You run...jump...and slide on your ass in the pursuit of a speedy finish. There are the usual bronze, silver and gold times to aim for and each level has a Rainbow medal for the experts among you.
I found it really easy to pick up and play and the replayability factor depends on how competitive you are. You'll either fall in to the category of 'well that was fast enough to get me through to the next level' OR (like me) you'll be 'well that was fast enough to get me through to the next level..BUT NOT AS FAST AS (insert friends name here) I HAVE TO BEAT HIM !!!!! '

The levels start off easy enough but as you progress the difficulty increases and the things you need to remember (jump..slide...swing) get harder to do. Timing of jumps and slides are critical for the fastest times and when you master that then it's very satisfying.
Graphically Action Henk is very colourful and most times you are moving too fast to sit back and take in the scenery. Picture a massive hot wheels track and substitute the cars for an overweight action hero and you have a majority of the levels right there.
The dialogue is cheesy and the soundtrack is nothing to shout about but nonetheless Action Henk is extremely addictive and has that 'one more go' factor to it.
All in all I would say that this game would be a good addition to anyones collection and I will give it a solid 7/10.
